Thanksgiving Day is the special day that gives every individual a chance to thank God for all the blessings and people in our lives. Thanksgiving Tag is a game, which is also a part of celebrations that gives a chance to the kids to tell what Thanksgiving means to them and what are they thankful about in their life. You can ask the kids if they have any traditions in their family, and ask if they want to share their family traditions with the group. You can form a group and ask each group to tell something they are thankful for. The game is about a lot of things that they are thankful for and sharing their feelings and thoughts with other friends.
The things that are needed for the game include three soft objects that are used for tagging players, the objects like yarn balls, small pieces of pool noodles, or rubber rings. In this Thanksgiving Tag game is a No Safe tag. The players will move around the playing area for two to three minutes until you tell them to stop. The next step is, revolve taggers in each round.
To start the game, you need to select three taggers on the end line. The taggers take a noodle and tag the players with them. Players start on opposite end line or in personal space. The game begins when every player shouts Happy Thanksgiving.
If a player tags another player, then they sit down and think that are thankful for. The tagged players get help from another player and share what they are thankful for. Once the player shares with another player, they both shout “Happy Thanksgiving,” and they both stand up and continue the game. You can also make a few changes like you can tell the tagged players to move to the other tagged player to share their thoughts instead of sharing their thoughts with the non-tagged player.
